It all started with a horse. At 19 years old, I started freelance writing for an equestrian publication, lending my lyrical talents while studying Linguistics. My other part-time work as a wedding planner was slowly gaining steam at the same time, and eventually eclipsed writing as my career path. I had a wonderful career as a wedding planner in the UK and Portugal for 8 years.

So what happened? 2020 happened.

The pandemic forced me to reassess my health and happiness as an events expert. I realised that wedding planning was no longer the path for me. Instead, I revitalised my passion for words to keep me sane during that time.

Now I’m pleased to say I’ve built up a portfolio of freelance writing work I am proud of. Having worked with SaaS companies, niche blogs, magazines, and small business owners, I’m looking to grow my copywriting skills in an inspiring startup environment.
